Support for Anxious Teens & Their Parents
Boutique Specialty Services for Ages 12–17
Parenting an anxious teen can be overwhelming. You want to support your child, but you also need clarity, structure, and tools that actually work. ThinkWell Counseling & Consulting offers a high-touch specialty service designed for teens struggling with anxiety and emotional regulation—and for parents who need guidance along the way.
This program is not general child therapy or crisis intervention.
It is a focused, premium service tailored to:
- Teens who experience anxiety or emotional overwhelm
- Sensitive or easily stressed teens
- Teens who shut down or react intensely
- Perfectionistic or high-achieving teens struggling with academic pressure
- Teens who are still functioning but need structured support
If this describes your child, this service is designed for your family.

Our Two-Part Specialty Model
1. Parent Coaching for Teen Anxiety
Parent coaching is the foundation of this program.
Instead of placing pressure on your teen, we begin by strengthening your skills as a parent.
Coaching sessions help you understand:
- Why teens escalate quickly or shut down
- How to respond during overwhelm or emotional spirals
- How to reduce school-related stress
- How to set boundaries that feel supportive
- How to communicate effectively during anxiety
- How your own regulation impacts your teen
Parent coaching sessions are available virtually or in person.
2. Teen Anxiety Support Sessions (Ages 12–17)
Teen sessions are offered selectively after the parent coaching phase has begun and we determine the teen is an appropriate fit.
These sessions focus on:
- Understanding triggers
- Managing anxiety in the moment
- Building coping and grounding skills
- Navigating school, friendships, and stress
- Reducing overthinking and perfectionism
- Communicating needs clearly
Sessions are available in person or virtually, depending on clinical appropriateness and family preference.
This is short-term, targeted work—not long-term therapy.
